April 20th, 2010 we found that Pete and I are having a little boy!! We couldn't be any more happier.
During the ultrasound he was extremely busy at first. At first glance he was sitting crossed legged and playing w/his hand in and out of his mouth, then feet over his head, back to crossed legged and so on. Then he'd fall asleep and i'd have to move so he'd wake up and move so that the ultrasound tech could get all of the measurements that she needed. Pete spotted that he was a 'boy' before anyone, even the tech. We both got teary eyed and it was a moment that neither of us will ever forget. It completely took my breath away and made it wayy more real.
Everything measured perfectly and he is a very healthy boy!! My heart swelled!
I must say. I know every parent thinks their child is super duper cute but I really think ours may be and saying this after just an ultrasound. Big surprises up a head :)

Sleeping baby w/his hand up to his mouth. We should probably let him sleep now.. He has had a busy day and many more to come. It's a lot of work forming an entire system. Sleep baby sleep.
