Today we were supposed to take a helicopter to a glacier where we were to visit dogsled camp and then take a dogsled ride on the glacier. We were very excited especially since Solomon loves pup-pups and this was a tour just for him. Ok for us also but definitely one he'd enjoy as well. Sadly we got to the helicopter landing and it was cancelled b/c of the weather. We were disappointed but all the same glad that they did take the weather conditions seriously. We'll try to jump on another helicopter/dog sledding adventure down the road in our Alaskan adventure.
We watched the helicopters take off. Solomon was so brave not even phased by the noise and the wind that the helicopter created. Even I found myself walking away from the helicopter. I never knew that they put off that much wind.
